This policy explains what information LinkPadi collects, how we use it and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: your email address and password. We store your password in a scrambled (hashed) form, never as plain text.
- Page content: the name, bio, links and WhatsApp number you add to your page.
- Bookings and tickets: when you book a service or get an event ticket on someone's page, we save your name, WhatsApp number and the details you give, like the date you want.
- Login cookie: a small cookie that keeps you logged in.
- Technical data: our hosting provider handles basic request data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.
2. What is public
Your page is public. Anyone with your link can see your username and everything you add to your page, including your WhatsApp number if you add one. Your email address and password are never shown. Anyone with a ticket link can see that ticket, including the name on it, so only share it with people you trust.
3. How we use your information
- To run your account and show your page.
- To keep LinkPadi safe and stop abuse.
- To answer your questions and send important account messages.
- To understand how LinkPadi is used and make it better.
4. Sharing
When you book or get a ticket, your name, WhatsApp number and booking details go to that page's owner so they can reply to you and check you in. We do not sell your personal information. Apart from that, we only share it with service providers that help us run LinkPadi, such as our hosting and database provider, or when the law requires it. When online payments launch, payments will be handled by a payment provider under their own privacy policy.
5. Cookies
We only use the cookie needed to keep you logged in. We don't use advertising cookies.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your page and account details, except anything we must keep by law.
7. Your choices
- Edit or remove your page content at any time from your dashboard.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete your account.
8. Children
LinkPadi is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If the changes are important, we will let you know on the site or by email.
